Meet Janani Iyer, the heroine for director Bala’s next movie ‘Avan Ivan’.

Sources say Janani is an out and out Chennai girl. Having done her schooling from Chennai’s DAV Girls school, she went on to complete her engineering in Saveetha Engineering College. Information has it that she’s been a model for over 120 TV commercials and hence she’s not afraid to face the camera.

Reacting to how she felt about getting her break into films, Janani reported to have said that it was her childhood dream to act in films as a heroine. She’s elated about the fact that she is making her debut under National Award winner Bala’s direction. Apparently director Vijay who directed ‘Kireedom’ with Ajith had told her that Bala was looking for a new face. She expressed her sincere gratefulness to ‘Kireedom’ director Vijay for this break.

Bala is directing his new multi-starrer ‘Avan Ivan’ with Vishal and Arya. When asked about her character in the movie, Janani reportedly said that she was told not to reveal the script or her character to even her closest relatives.
